1. Who you are contracting with

TheRealMeal ("the Service") is owned and operated by Realm ("Realm", "we", "us"). By creating an account, subscribing, or continuing to use the Service you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please stop using the Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation you confirm you have authority to bind it; if you use it as an individual you confirm you are of legal age to enter a contract in your country.

2. What the Service does

TheRealMeal lets you enter a dish you want to cook and returns multiple suggested variations of that dish with written cooking directions, together with a 30-minute breakdown of light exercises you can do before, during or after your meal. It also lets you share content to social media and rate the app.

3. Recipes, food safety and health

Recipe suggestions and movement breakdowns are generated automatically and are provided for general informational purposes only. They are not medical, nutritional, dietary or professional fitness advice. Outputs may be inaccurate or incomplete: you are responsible for checking ingredients against your own allergies and dietary needs, following safe food-handling and cooking temperatures, and judging whether any exercise is appropriate for you. Consult a qualified professional before changing your diet or starting physical activity, particularly if you are pregnant, injured or have a medical condition. You use recipes and exercises at your own risk.

4. Acceptable use

You must not:

• use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in breach of any applicable law;
• commit fraud, send spam, or misrepresent your identity;
• infringe anyone's intellectual property or other rights;
• interfere with the security or integrity of the Service, including uploading malware, probing or scanning our systems, or scraping the Service by automated means;
• submit prompts or content intended to generate unlawful, hateful, harassing, or deliberately harmful material, including unsafe food or health instructions;
• reverse engineer, resell, redistribute, or circumvent technical limits of the Service.

You are responsible for what you submit to the Service and for how you use the outputs you receive, including verifying their accuracy before relying on them. We may moderate, filter, refuse or remove content and outputs where we consider it necessary.

5. Your account

You must provide accurate information, keep it up to date, and keep your login credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity that takes place under your account.

6. Intellectual property and licence

Realm retains all ownership of the Service and its intellectual property, including the software, branding, design and documentation. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for your own personal or internal business use during your paid subscription. You grant us a limited licence to host and process the content you submit solely so we can provide the Service to you. If you believe content in the Service infringes your rights, contact us and we will review it and remove infringing material where appropriate; we may suspend accounts for repeated or serious infringement.

7. Payment and subscription terms

TheRealMeal is a monthly subscription priced at $3.99 per month (see our pricing page). Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, renewal, tax and cancellation mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms. Subscriptions renew automatically each month until cancelled. Refunds are described in our refund policy.

8. Service availability

We work to keep the Service available, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free, and features may change over time. To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

9. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access where there is a material breach of these terms, non-payment, a security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. You may stop using the Service and cancel your subscription at any time. When access ends you may lose access to saved content, so export anything you want to keep beforehand.

10. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We exclude liability for indirect, consequential or special damages, including loss of profits, data or goodwill. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot be limited by law. You will indemnify us against claims arising from your content, your unlawful use of the Service, or your breach of these terms.

11. General

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Realm is established, and disputes will be heard by the courts of that jurisdiction. You may not assign your rights without our consent; we may assign ours in connection with a merger, acquisition or reorganisation. Neither party is liable for delays caused by events beyond its reasonable control. If we change these terms we will update the date at the top of this page.
